Christina was born 7th February, 1840 at Jerry Plains. She was to live until 1925 aged 85 years. Christina married first cousin John Chesher, son of George Chesher and Christiana Miller, first daughter of Thomas & Catherine Miller, married in 1858 at Teasdale Park. John Chesher was at one time an Inn Keeper and sometimes farmer. They had financial problems like most others of that period and during these years had to mortgage the property to John De Clouret who was a Bathurst Publician, and the owner of the good horse "Pasha". John Chesher lost his land as he was unable to repay the loan.
All of the Chesher brothers had equal shares in Teasdale, and John had to sell his share to his brother William. John then took his family to Trunkey Creek, staying there until his death, and both are buried at Uniting Church Hobby's Yard Cemetery, Bathurst. 12 children were of the marriage, with at least 5 of them dying at an early age. John Chesher was only 47 years old when he passed away. A headstone to both parents is erected.

Transport and Chains says Christina born 7th Feb 1840 on page 42, yet page 35 says born on 9th Feb 1840.
