In 1928 Donald Chesher of Neville tried to buy the school site without success. The school was the one requested by William Hatch along with others and stood at the junction of the road from Mount Macquarie to Trunkey and the road to Teasdale at Wattleville. It was open from 1889 to December 1905.
He lived in Neville NSW
